The FIFISH lightweight rescue underwater robot has the industry&#8217;s first dual-battery hot-swappable design. The dual external batteries can be hot-swapped, without shutting down and restarting, and can be replaced and returned to full power in as fast as 10 seconds. In long-term underwater emergency rescue operations, a single FIFISH lightweight rescue underwater robot is equipped with two sets of batteries, paired with QYSEA&#8217;s intelligent battery steward for onshore charging, which can be charged to 90% capacity in as fast as 50 minutes, enabling two sets of batteries to be alternately used, greatly increasing the endurance time for emergency rescue operations.<br /><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6631" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/6.png" alt="" width="1000" height="700" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/6.png 1000w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/6-300x210.png 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/6-768x538.png 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/6-90x63.png 90w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/6-370x259.png 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/6-760x532.png 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/6-600x420.png 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p><h3><b>Flexible Mechanical Arm for Strong Grip</b></h3><p>Due to the complex rescue environment of rivers, lakes, and seas, and the impact of water flow erosion, once a target is found, it needs to be quickly grasped to prevent it from being washed away, affecting the efficiency of rescue. The FIFISH lightweight rescue underwater robot can be equipped with powerful mechanical arms, including two-claw mechanical arms, three-claw mechanical arms, salvage locks, and other rescue and salvage accessories to choose from. The maximum gripping force of the mechanical arm can reach 10kgf, with robust and durable quality, coupled with the full 360-degree control posture of the body and the ability to pull a 70kg zero-buoyancy Kevlar material cable, it can adapt to various environments and conduct immediate salvage tasks.<br /><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6632" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7.jpg" alt="" width="1000" height="563" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7.jpg 1000w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7-300x169.jpg 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7-768x432.jpg 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7-90x51.jpg 90w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7-370x208.jpg 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7-760x428.jpg 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7-600x338.jpg 600w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/7-270x152.jpg 270w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p><h3><b>Collaborative Underwater Operations</b></h3><p>In emergency rescue tasks, underwater robots are often used to locate target objects, and divers follow the underwater cable to find the target object and carry out salvage tasks. In major underwater emergency rescue situations, real-time underwater conditions need to be transmitted back to the command center for the next decision. The FIFISH lightweight rescue underwater robot is designed for lithium battery power supply, not direct power supply mode, so divers can work with underwater robots without worrying about the risk of electric leakage causing secondary disasters. After the underwater robot finds the target object, it can use the AI visual locking function to lock the target object, automatically maintain a stable anti-flow posture, and keep the target object within sight. At this time, divers can dive along the zero-buoyancy cable to the target location. In major rescue tasks such as buses and cars falling into the water, the FIFISH lightweight rescue underwater robot can activate the AI diver tracking function, automatically track the divers engaged in underwater salvage operations in real-time, and transmit the underwater situation back to the command center, escorting the safety of divers&#8217; lives and providing more time for underwater rescue decision-making.<br /><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6633" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8.png" alt="" width="1000" height="563" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8.png 1000w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8-300x169.png 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8-768x432.png 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8-90x51.png 90w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8-370x208.png 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8-760x428.png 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8-600x338.png 600w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/8-270x152.png 270w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p><h3><b>AI-Driven Rescue Facilitation</b></h3><p>Nowadays, it is an era of rapid development of AI, and AI is gradually changing our lives. AI can free up the hands of operators of underwater robots, making the operation of emergency rescue tasks easier and more efficient. QYSEA Technology has introduced two major functions of AI visual hovering lock and AI diver tracking for the first time in emergency scenarios, enabling efficient collaborative operations with divers. In addition, it has also introduced the U-INS inertial navigation system, which uses AI algorithms to calculate the trajectory of the underwater robot&#8217;s movement, visually displays it, and allows operators to control the robot without being troubled by complex underwater headings. At the same time, QYSEA Technology has upgraded its independently developed U-QPS 2.0 underwater rapid positioning system, which intuitively displays maps and has dual RTK ship positioning modes. Rescue personnel can achieve accurate positioning even on floating rubber boats or speedboats, and can also use AI 3D path planning function to plan underwater 3D search paths on the APP, enabling the underwater robot to autonomously plan operations, conduct high-frequency and repetitive underwater carpet-like searches in designated waters, and improve search and rescue efficiency.<br /><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6634" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-1.png" alt="" width="1000" height="700" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-1.png 1000w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-1-300x210.png 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-1-768x538.png 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-1-90x63.png 90w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-1-370x259.png 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-1-760x532.png 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-1-600x420.png 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /> <img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6635" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-2.png" alt="" width="1000" height="491" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-2.png 1000w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-2-300x147.png 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-2-768x377.png 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-2-90x44.png 90w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-2-370x182.png 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-2-760x373.png 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/9-2-600x295.png 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p><h3><b>QYSEA collaborates with the Dawn Rescue Team to complete underwater bomb disposal</b></h3><p>On August 21st, the Dawn Rescue Team of Xiamen suddenly received a request for assistance from the Jingdezhen Police in Jiangxi Province, requesting professional assistance in eliminating the hidden dangers of major explosives at the bottom of the Changjiang River.<br /><br />The Dawn Rescue Team of Xiamen immediately dispatched an 8-person task force overnight and arrived in Jingdezhen at 3:00 am on the 22nd. <p class="p1">What is all the hype about Underwater Drones? Well, much like the popularity of aerial drones, underwater drones or ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) are really taking off! Or should I say diving deep&#8230;. </p><p class="p1">With so many uses and applications for businesses, councils, oil/gas, fishing industries and recreational purposes the current usage of underwater drones is only the tip of the iceberg.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p class="p1">Unlike aerial drones, underwater drones don’t fall under any regulations at the present time. However, much like their aerial counterparts &#8211; they are super fun to fly and the coolest thing is being able to see what’s under the water, while you stay bone dry and warm.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span></p><p class="p1">Often, because of poor conditions or OH&amp;S in more professional settings, using an underwater drone can be the ultimate solution. Have a read of our other Blog on Drones (change name to title) and their uses in different scenarios</p><p class="p1">For others, who might not be able to enter the water, because of physical challenges or past accidents, underwater drones allow them to explore, share and enjoy the underwater world, as much as the rest of us.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p class="p1">In any case, the long battery run time of the QYSEA FiFish drones enables everybody to explorer longer and deeper underwater.</p><p class="p1">So what makes one drone/ROV better than the next? They certainly are not all equal and some simply fly better than others. Price, size, convenience, quality, battery power, and capabilities all contribute to the best drone for you.</p><p class="p1">QYSEA, through their range of Fifish V-Series underwater drones, offer different ROVS that perform different tasks or have different capabilities. Whereas the V6 and V6S are popular with &#8211; but not limited to &#8211; the recreational underwater drone pilots, the V6 Expert and V6 Plus are mainly used in a diverse range of professional scenarios due to their added functionality and/or tools.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p class="p1">In addition, there is also their “Big Brother” the W6 industrial ROV.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><figure id="attachment_5642" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-5642" style="width: 1000px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="wp-image-5642 size-full" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case.jpg" alt="" width="1000" height="1000" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case.jpg 1000w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-300x300.jpg 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-150x150.jpg 150w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-768x768.jpg 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-370x370.jpg 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-90x90.jpg 90w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-760x760.jpg 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-270x270.jpg 270w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-570x570.jpg 570w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-385x385.jpg 385w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-industrial-case-600x600.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-5642" class="wp-caption-text">The sturdy Industrial Case offers enough space for the drone and its accessories. The wheels and pull handles make it super easy to transport everything!</figcaption></figure><p class="p1"><strong>What makes the FiFish different from the rest?</strong></p><p class="p1">For starters, the Fifish underwater drones are omni-directional<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>&#8211; that means these drones can move in any direction; they can move forwards and backwards, left and right, up and down, then they can also pitch and yaw and then they can roll &#8211; this is called 6 degrees of freedom.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p class="p1">This movement capability really sets the Fifish drones apart from some of the competitors and gives pilots complete flexibility and true freedom to fly the way they want to. Yes, it takes a little practice, however, there is a beginner’s mode, so don’t be put off. The Underwater Australasia Team is also here to help!</p><p class="p1">All units all have ultra-wide 166° field of view cameras &#8211; the widest in the drones, so you won’t miss a thing.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p class="p1">The FiFish App is super clever and easy to use with heaps of functionality. Any future firmware updates can be easily installed on existing units through this App.</p><p class="p1">QYSEA also developed VISION LOCK in 2022 allowing the user to keep the drone focused on a subject, even in currents. Vision Lock keeps the drone steady, auto-adjusting the position of the drone, making piloting the drone so much easier.</p><p class="p1">Let’s dig a bit deeper into the different models available.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><figure id="attachment_5639" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-5639" style="width: 1497px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="wp-image-5639 size-full" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6.jpg" alt="" width="1497" height="1200" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6.jpg 1497w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-300x240.jpg 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-1024x821.jpg 1024w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-768x616.jpg 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-370x297.jpg 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-760x609.jpg 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-600x481.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1497px) 100vw, 1497px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-5639" class="wp-caption-text">QYSEA V6 Underwater Drone</figcaption></figure><p class="p1">The <a href="https://underwater.com.au/shop/fifish-v6-underwater-drone-vr-head-tracking.html">QYSEA <strong>Fifish V6 Underwater Drone </strong></a>comes standard with a VR Head set and a 100 meter Kevlar tether. The V6S looks and feels like the V6, but has 60% more battery power than the V6 &#8211; with more than 6 hours of run time. </p><p class="p1">Now this is where it gets interesting as the V6S allows you to do all the fun things the V6 offers and MORE &#8211; you can now retrieve items from the seabed, or salvage lost articles in bodies of water that no one else can get to. The robotic arm has some serious punch too; it’ll lift up to 10Kgs.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p class="p1">For those of you that want to lift more than 10kgs….well, QYSEA developed a hook that can be deployed by the robotic arm rated to 200kgs (secured to a separate line). It too has 64GB of storage.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p class="p1">Both the V6 and the V6S fit into our protective Industrial Cases that can be purchased. This modular unit has a number of optional accessories to choose from that will add functionality. V6 Expert is typically used in a more professional environment where, for example, water quality or structural intergrety is being monitored.</p><p class="p1">The <strong>V6 Expert </strong>design is the same as the V6 &amp; V6S but comes in Tech Grey and delivers more again. The Expert is capable of diving to 100m, but its lights have a combined brightness of 6,000 lumens. This unit takes a separate 128 SD Card under the shell of the drone. This allows you to quickly access files and/or swap SD Cards for a second or 3rd dive. The Expert takes a multitude of tools and accessories, including water samplers, pH testers and salinity sensors. Even Sonar and GPS can be hooked up to the <strong>V6 Expert</strong>. These are used by researchers, fish farms, tank inspectors and more. With measuring tools like laser scalers and compass rulers, this is truly a device for more than recreational use.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p><p class="p1">The V6 Expert comes in its own case, but a larger protective Industrial Case with wheels and handles is an optional, handy extra.</p><figure id="attachment_5641" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-5641" style="width: 1000px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="wp-image-5641 size-full" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-plus_.jpg" alt="" width="1000" height="655" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-plus_.jpg 1000w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-plus_-300x197.jpg 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-plus_-768x503.jpg 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-plus_-370x242.jpg 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-plus_-760x498.jpg 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/qysea-fifish-drone-v6-plus_-600x393.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-5641" class="wp-caption-text">QYSEAFiFish V6 Plus</figcaption></figure><p class="p1">What’s next &#8211; well from here we move to the <a href="https://underwater.com.au/shop/fifish-v6-expert-underwater-drone.html"><strong>QYSEA FiFish V6 PLUS Underwater Drone</strong></a>. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The development and deployment of compact ROVs (remotely operated underwater vehicles) in recent years have immensely helped users overcome the greater technical difficulties and efficiency issues involving professional small-scale underwater tasks, especially in 4K filming, operational work, and deep-sea inspections. While the ROVs&#8217; capacity in shooting, mobility, and power is continuously improving, the ability to accurately and actively lock onto subjects visually underwater remained a challenging bottleneck to breakthrough within the industry. In light of recent breakthroughs and developments, QYSEA Technology and its innovative research and engineering team have launched an </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="https://www.qysea.com/aiplatform-visionlock/">AI-based vision platform</a></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> allowing its FIFISH Underwater Robots to achieve precise underwater active visual locking capabilities.</span></p><p style="font-weight: 400;">The newly-developed QYSEA AI Platform includes a range of adaptive position and vision locking systems for all FIFISH ROVs. Among these dynamic features, the AI Vision Lock system can visually secure onto selected targets across any underwater environment with ease and precision. The user needs to simply press on the area of interest on their APP screen and the ROV then intuitively adjusts its position, locking the target at the screen center.</p><p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-5616 size-full" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock2.jpg" alt="" width="800" height="483" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock2.jpg 800w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock2-300x181.jpg 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock2-768x464.jpg 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock2-370x223.jpg 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock2-760x459.jpg 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock2-600x362.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></p><p style="font-weight: 400;">Activating the AI Vision Lock unleashes a range of smart capabilities that ensure selected subjects are at the main focus, improving operating efficiency and resistance against currents for the FIFISH user. Once locked onto the selected target and if the posture of the ROV -such as its pitch, direction, and rolls- is changed from outside elements or thought the controller, the FIFISH will intuitively re-adjust its position towards the original point of focus.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;">The key technology behind QYSEA&#8217;s AI platform is the Dead Reckoning Inertial Navigation System (DR-INS). FIFISH ROVs utilize their built-in accelerometer and gyroscope to measure the acceleration and angular velocity of objects, as well as their computing systems to actively estimate and calculate the position, attitude, and velocity of objects in motion which results in a stabilized and smooth real-time target locking. The technology has been mainly used through aircraft, submarines, missiles, and space shuttles, where its technical threshold can be quite high. As a creative breakthrough within the marine industry, the QYSEA R&amp;D team has taken the lead in applying this technology to ROVs for the first time, successfully launching the AI Vision Lock platform following numerous trials and iterations.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;">QYSEA’s AI Platform and Vision Lock system brings disruptive and essential changes across the marine industries, further enhancing the capabilities for the needs of both professionals and enthusiasts.</p><p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-5617 size-full" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock3.jpg" alt="" width="800" height="483" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock3.jpg 800w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock3-300x181.jpg 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock3-768x464.jpg 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock3-370x223.jpg 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock3-760x459.jpg 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock3-600x362.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><u>Emergency Search &amp; Rescue</u></p><p style="font-weight: 400;">Underwater emergency rescue operations are often time-critical, where it would be key to locate the rescue targets with optimal efficiency and precision. QYSEA&#8217;s FIFISH Underwater Robots, equipped with the 2D imaging sonar and AI Vision Lock function, allow the ROV to secure its visuals with swiftness and accuracy, allowing divers to execute their rescue missions with higher efficiency. During a life-saving and vital mission where every second counts, the AI Vision Lock uses automation to effectively track the necessary objects, removing the time and costs wasted from performing manual tracking.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><u>Highway &amp; Bridge Inspections</u></p><p style="font-weight: 400;">Highways and bridges are a vital part of national transportation, and thus is necessary to conduct regular inspections of their internal and external structures to ensure safety for daily operation. Traditionally, bridge inspection required much manpower and resources to be complete. The FIFISH ROV can be seamlessly deployed into waters for inspections and -with the AI Vision Lock system- easily lock onto a damaged area along with the piles and coordinate a quick repairing operation. Combined with the AR Ruler attachment, operators achieve greater efficiency in identifying and measuring the size of damages and other elements through the FIFISH APP.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><u>Offshore Wind Power</u></p><p style="font-weight: 400;">Offshore wind is one of the newest and most promising sources of energy, with yearly rising industry demand on a global scale. As a result, offshore wind power equipment requires frequent maintenance and inspections to maintain its operations, with ROVs having been a largely beneficial solution for these tasks. Utilizing the AI Vision Lock platform, operators can inspect an offshore wind structure&#8217;s pile and detect problematic areas with great detail and ease. Under heavy and strong currents that frequent in offshore environments, the AI Vision Lock system keeps the position of the FIFISH ROV highly secured and locked onto its target.</p><p><img decoding="async" loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-5618 size-full" src="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock4.jpg" alt="" width="800" height="483" srcset="https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock4.jpg 800w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock4-300x181.jpg 300w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock4-768x464.jpg 768w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock4-370x223.jpg 370w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock4-760x459.jpg 760w, https://underwaterrobotics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/visionlock4-600x362.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><u>Aquaculture</u></p><p style="font-weight: 400;">Aquaculture in China has developed rapidly, ranking first in the world for more than 20 consecutive years and accounting for nearly 70% of the world&#8217;s total output. However, its rapid development has also been accompanied by various challenges; traditional fish farming operations have relied on labor-intensive methods for inspections, as well as harmful breeding practices to manage its efficiency. Deploying compact ROVs into the world of aquaculture has greatly reduced human-based and fish-breeding risks. With the recent AI Vision Lock upgrade, the FIFISH can quickly locate and lock onto damaged areas around the fishing net, and execute a quick repair with the Net Patch Kit add-on tool. Through these modernized methods, the marine industry is able to experience immense improvements in its standards and operations.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;">The marine applications and scenarios where the FIFISH can benefit the user are not only limited to the ones listed above. The QYSEA&#8217;s AI Vision Lock platform introduces a new level of operational efficiency and capabilities for its ROV users. From underwater filming and discovery missions to advanced operational tasks, QYSEA&#8217;s latest comprehensive APP upgrade pushes the industry of compact ROVs to new and exciting heights.</p> </div>
